I went to see this exhibition on Cork Street, of Carlos Cruz-Diez's work who is described as a a Venezuelan kinetic and op artist. I was looking for inspiration on new colours to work with, and the combinations he used were really inspiring. There were so many colours together but they worked well, each line fading into something else. The pictures looked completely different from far away, up close, and also from the sides. Over the Summer I plan to create a sketchbook of inspirational colour schemes to incorporate into my work within the second year.
