Look at website for fabric samples similar to ideas of ribbon candy/folding pleating. Interesting compositions and ways to show folding. I could experiment with ways to create a really 3d fabric, for example by creating strips of knitting that have been stuffed with foam tubes. Or, I could just use very long strips of knit which I then pleat or fold using the mini iron, and hook back onto the machine. Folds could also be created by hooking back every 20th stitch for example. Patterns can be created by how the pleated strips are hung back onto the machine. Ruffles could also be attached to and coming out of rhino's folds areas. This would create more of a random pattern, but could also be organised.
